Turkeys for Tulsans

Talk Radio KFAQ ended their Turkey for Tulsans campaign today. They were raising money to purchase turkeys for Cornerstone Assistance Network. Cornerstone uses these turkeys to distribute along with other goods to needy families in the Greater Tulsa area for Christmas. A very worthy cause!

We caught Darryl Baskin very eary this am at 81st and Mingo's McDonalds where Gwen and Chris were broadcasting live. Darryl dropped off donations he collected during the Halloween season while passing out free pumpkins in some of the local neighborhoods and at ONB bank. Along with the $600.00 donation, Darryl issued a challenge to all other realtors to match or beat the donation.

Cornerstone needs 3,000 turkeys to fill all the requests they have for Christmas grocery baskets. It's still not too late to donate. Visit KFAQ's web site: http://www.1170kfaq.com/ and click on Donate Turkeys for Tulsans.

Also, you can listen to Darryl Baskin on KFAQ every Saturday morning 7 - 8 am on "The Future of Real Estate" radio talk show. http://www.1170kfaq.com/
On Saturday Dec 1st one of Darryl's guests will be Chris Beach of Cornerstone. Tune in to find out if they were able to purchase all the turkeys they needed.

The south Tulsa neighborhood of Shadow Ridge came out in numbers this past week to support the Great Pumpkin Give-a-Way sponsored by The Baskin Real Estate Specialists. Baskin team members were eager for the opportunity to give back to the family oriented subdivision and what better way to do so than by passing out free pumpkins to local residents donated by Darryl Baskin .

As experts in the real estate profession it is imperative that the Baskin Real Estate Specialists remain flexible with market changes, while remaining loyal to Tulsa and the Green Country market. This is done by building personal relationships with clients.

Taking an afternoon to hand deliver pumpkins is a chance to personally say thanks for years of support to past clients and puts Baskin Team Realtors in front of potential new clients to demonstrate what our business means to us. "Being a leading Realtor is a business recognition, but being involved and leading in our community is a much greater accomplishment", says Darryl Baskin.
